Grangetown, Cardiff

This metropolitan melting pot is situated south of the city, along the bayside. It offers a diverse community, affordable housing options, and convenient access to Cardiff city centre. The area has been experiencing a period of gentrification and improvements in its infrastructure, including new, independent restaurants, and public community spaces.

Rhiwbina, Cardiff

Located in the northern part of the city, Rhiwbina has a suburban feel with a village-like atmosphere. It has a thriving community and a variety of local shops, schools, and parks. In the 1890s, the Rhiwbina Garden Village housing development was built, which in modern times has been awarded the title of Conservation Area, because of “sufficient architectural and historic merit”. For that reason the upkeep of the village is carefully looked after by its residents, which makes it very desirable.

Treforest, Pontypridd

Birthplace of Sir Tom Jones, Treforest is a suburb of Pontypridd and is most notably known as the home of the University of South Wales. The area has seen recent investments in student accommodation and facilities, making it an emerging hub for education and innovation. Treforest offers convenient transport links and a range of eateries and bars to suit student life. We also have our dedicated Student Brand ‘My Student Living’ providing student lettings to this area.

More suited to younger families, Church Village has seen improvements and investments in recent years. The community benefits from the investment in its local schools, parks and leisure centres, plus its proximity to Pontypridd town centre, all whilst offering a quieter suburban environment. The town also features many period buildings, including its Carnagie parish church.

Pontypridd Town Centre

With its history in the coal and iron industries, Pontypridd as a whole has seen redevelopment and improvements, the town centre itself has been a focus of regeneration initiatives. Efforts have been made to enhance the shopping areas, improve pedestrian accessibility, and create a more vibrant town centre. Pontypridd Market, located in the heart of the town, has also been revitalised, attracting new businesses and visitors.
