About 6 years ago I became an accidental landlord when I was unable to sell a leasehold property. I didn’t have the time to become heavily involved in managing the tenancy and so I got Seraph to manage the property for me. During that time they dealt with absolutely everything that cropped up with the tenant, whether it was admin, renewals of contracts or problems with the property. There was never any delay, and anytime they contacted me to advise me of a problem, there was already a solution in place with all costs fully transparent. Furthermore, if ever I had a concern I was always able to speak to someone on the telephone, or would have an emailed replied to on the same day. Thankfully I was recently able to sell the property and so the obvious choice for me was to use James Douglas for the sale. They listed it, found a buyer and then managed the transaction. It ended up being fairly complex with one mortgage provider deciding they were not willing to lend. They went above and beyond and helped to find another lender, not to mention helping to get the endless documents required from the freeholder. We’ve recently completed and I can honestly say of it hadn’t been for Seraph the sale would have fallen through. Initial process was great, called them up and made a booking the following day in Cardiff. When I arrived I was shown around by Adam, who highlighted the key features in the property and explained the application process if we wanted to proceed. He happily answered any questions I had about the area and even made further recomendations about other properties close by incase it wasn't the one. Later the same day he instantly responded to my email and explained what to do next, which really helped me feel less stressed about completing the application.
